Multinational company operanting in financial services
The key responsibilities of the job are:
  • To be the primary contact for answering and logging help desk calls/emails as well as troubleshooting and resolving desktop and application problems
  • Making an initial assessment of requests, attempting to resolve or escalate based on agreed service levels
  • Monitoring the status and progress towards incident resolution. Keeping affected users informed of status and progress
  • To assist in providing accurate timely reports and management information
  • Carrying out system "housekeeping" tasks e.g. anti-virus updates, desktop patching, updating hardware and application records, etc.
  • Carrying out hardware and software installations

The successful candidate has the following skills and qualifications:
  • PC literate / IT Skills (MS Office Library)
  • Professionalism and politeness
  • Organisation & Planning
  • Effective Communication and Problem Solving
  • Ability to deal with internal customer complaints over the telephone or email
  • Good communication skills especially on the phone/videoconference with colleagues from Italy and abroad
