We are looking for a Head of Salesfor our offices in Italy.


  • Define, in accordance with the Sales Director, key targets and strategic goals
  • Work to reinforce AIM's market position nationally and internationally achieving further financial growth and market share in the Meetings and Events Industry
  • Supervise and coordinate the Sales team in accordance with the Sales Director
  • Build key customer relationships identifying new business opportunities
  • Drive the business towards long-term client relationships
  • Manage ongoing business accounts whilst building new relationships
  • Manage and Coordinate the end to end sales process including BIDs/Rfp, financial offers and formal business tenders
  • Foster productive communication between the client and the rest of the staff (Sales and Operation)
  • Handle incoming inquiries providing timely proposals
  • Develop winning strategy by prospecting specific corporate clients
  • Prepare professional presentations for new clients
  • Monitor sales data and account performances using the Corporate CRM Software


  • At least 5 years of sales professional experience and of which at least 3 years' successful direct and indirect sales in the corporate event industry
  • Experience in the coordination and supervision of a team, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of the Meetings and Events industry, processes and operations
  • Demonstrated track record in Sales and Account Management
  • Commercial knowledge to analyse market data and identify new opportunities
  • Creative, customer-oriented and team player
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Languages: fluent English and another language
  • Job Location: Milan
